Everyday Green Juice – a perfect, delicious & easy recipe! I’ve been making this one for many years because it’s so nourishing. This juice is also low glycemic so it will not spike your blood sugar. Green juice is a great way to start your day with lots of extra easy-to-absorb nutrition and hydration.
Green juice is a great way to get nutrients & minerals into your body without having to digest food. I don’t use green juice in place of meals. I use green juice in the morning to ‘break my fast’ and as natural & tasty ‘medicine.’

I only drink low glycemic green juice since it won’t spike your blood sugar. I try to avoid sweet juice and mostly stick to green juice. This is an easy one to start with because it’s made of common ingredients that you can find at your grocery store anytime of the year! However, since it’s summer right now, I made this with many ingredients from my garden. 🙂
Everyday Green Juice
- 1 head of kale
- 1 small apple (optional)
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 1 head of celery
- 2 large cucumbers
- Put everything through your juicer, strain & serve. Enjoy!
