Dark Cherry Chia Seed Jam!! This super easy blender recipe for jam is full of nutrition including antioxidants and Omega 3s. Chia seeds are known for their Omega 3s and also for their fiber content and ability to keep you full longer. This sweet & tasty raw vegan jam is great on everything. 🍒
In this recipe I’m using frozen dark sweet cherries from Trader Joe’s but any fresh or frozen fruit or berries will work in this recipe. I recommend trying wild blueberry chia seed jam, strawberry chia jam, and whatever else you like! Please see the recipe notes for chia seed ratio recommendations.
This recipe is considered a ‘quick jam’ since it’s not preserved and is not shelf stable. This recipe will keep in the fridge for up to a week. It goes amazingly on my Strawberry Banana Oatmeal or French Toast recipes. You can also put it on Gluten-free Pancakes or just a slice of wholegrain oil-free toast.
