Salted Caramel Nice Cream!! This is decadent, sweet, & ridiculously creamy and you won’t miss an ounce of dairy in this recipe. Nice cream is ice cream made from frozen bananas, and then you add your favorite flavors. I love to mix up my nice cream flavors as you know from my recipes for Matcha Nice Cream & Cherry Berry Nice Cream that I posted previously! 🙂
The base itself is so good, you could eat it right out of the blender (not that I’ve done that…just sayin’) or you can get fancy and add some toppings. Today I used some chopped walnuts for topping but you can use whatever you like on your nice cream from coconut shreds for ‘sprinkles’ to carob or chocolate chips, and more.
- 6 ripe frozen bananas, in pieces
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- a tiny pinch of sea salt (optional)
- Put your ingredients in a high-speed blender like a Vitamix and blend on high with the tamper, pushing down on the ingredients till they blend together and become creamy.
- Serve and enjoy right away! Add your favorite toppings too.
