Turmeric Ginger Latte!! This cozy, warm and caffeine-free tea ‘latte’ is also a delicious health tonic. For this recipe I use my Homemade Raw Vegan Cashew Milk recipe, but any plant-based milk of your choice will work. I love to make this for family & friends at tea time and it feels a little extra fancy, but you’ll know how good it is for you too!
Ginger and turmeric are roots that are renowned for their healing properties. These roots are anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and help the body to heal itself. I went into some of the benefits of ginger in my How to Heal a Headache Naturally without Painkillers post.
Arguably turmeric is even more famous of the two, and there is a lot of research on turmeric, one of my favorite books How Not to Die by Dr. Gregor talks about how important turmeric is in supporting a healthy immune system and preventing cancer. Turmeric is also mentioned in many of the Medical Medium books including Life Changing Foods by Anthony William which is one of my favorites.
