Chocolate Chip Sourdough Scones

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups wholegrain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup sourdough starter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup oat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/8 cup mini vegan chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and lightly whisk together.
  • Add all your wet ingredients and stir to combine, don't over mix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips or whatever add-ins you are using.
  • Drop scones onto a silicon mat on a baking sheet, this makes 8 scones.
  • Bake in the oven at 425F for 12-13 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes. Serve & enjoy!
