Gomashio (Sesame Sea Salt)
 
 
Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons ground sesame seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
  1. Add the ground sesame to a skillet on medium-low heat, stir continuously to prevent burning.
  2. When the seeds start to smell "nutty" after about a minute, remove from the heat and let cool.
  3. Add the sesame & sea salt to a bowl, crush lightly with a pestle or back of a spoon, the mixture should resemble a coarse powder.
  4. Serve right away or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
