The Perfect Low-Fat Raw Vegan Chocolate Sauce
  • 9 medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • ½ cup filtered water
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract, or raw vanilla bean powder
Any fruit for dipping
  1. Combine all the ingredients in the blender
  2. Blend until smooth, ensuring all the dates are incorporated, if you have harder dates you may want to soak them in warm water a few minutes before blending.
  3. Serve as dip with strawberries, bananas, or any fruit. Enjoy!
If you are sensitive to cacao, substitute raw carob powder instead.
